Spent April and May of 2025 here. A wonderful, modern, upper floor unit. Central air is priceless. Newly remodeled with a nice kitchen and bath. A few furnishings needed for long term QoL (mirrors, hooks, upgrade primary room bed frame), but I imagine those will get added with time.

And I have not even mentioned how nice and walkable the area is....I could go on and on. The list of pros is LONG in this fantastic apartment.

So let's do the cons 🙂

TRAIN HORN. Really the only unavoidable con. If you're a light sleeper (ME), then even with earplugs it might wake you at 3am. Also, some of the neighborhood dogs are a bit barky at night and early AM, but that's a bit less annoying.

AND...that's it. Really near perfect place to stay. Book it if you have the chance.

We had a wonderful 2 month stay in Gretna! The place was very clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen was stocked with all the basics we needed for cooking and we appreciated having a grill on the shared patio to use. We enjoyed being in a quiet neighborhood but still being a short drive or ferry ride away from the city. One of our favorite activities was taking walks along the river with a great view of the city. Raymond was very helpful and quickly responded whenever we needed anything. Definitely recommend staying here!

The stay was AWESOME and the only reason I didn’t stay longer was because someone else beat me to it!! Ray responds quickly to any and every concern....he even showed up at 2 am to fix a noise in the house that kept me awake one night!!!!! Really nice, quiet cozy little house. Quaint neighborhood. My friends visited and they also commented on how nice and clean and comfortable the place was. He definitely went above and beyond to make my stay here great. I’m gonna miss my little space in Gretna!!
